INTRODUCING the New Co-directors of TrinityWomen Ministries!

Ella Johnson is the mother of Lakesha, Chris, and Chelsea. Lakesha is married to James Murry and has 3 children, Wynter, Ella, and Peter. Ella was born in Snow Hill, MD and raised in Salisbury until she was 8 years old, when she then relocated to Baltimore to live with her aunt. As a young adult, she purchased a home and lived in the Yale Heights area for about 25 years. She grew up in the church and gave her life to the Lord early in childhood, re-dedicating her life to the Lord in 1979. In 1986, Ella found her way to Trinity and has been an active member ever since. In the past she has taught Sunday school here at Trinity. More recently, she has been involved in the kitchen and hospitality areas of service as well as the Trinity Prayer and Trinity Women’s ministry. You may often see Ella out near the café on the main campus on Sunday mornings shadowed by her “mini-me”, Ella (Lakesha’s daughter). Look for her there and greet her!

Etta Watkins was born and raised in Baltimore, the fourth child of a pastor and his wife. She gave her life to the Lord at age five and was baptized in the Gunpowder by her father at age six. She served in the choir growing up until her father retired his pastoral position. When he retired, she joined Dalton Baptist Church where at age 26, she re-dedicated her life to the Lord and was re-baptized. Etta is married to Gregory Watkins and is the mother of three grown children; twins, Damond and Danean, and Shannon. She has six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Etta was a very active member of Dalton serving in the choir as missionary and associate minister until 1997, when she left Dalton and started attending Trinity. Since then she has been an active member of Trinity serving in the choir, as a soloist for the choir, the Trinity Prayer ministry, and the Trinity Women’s ministry. Etta can be found leading our prayer night each month in the Administrative suite. Look for her the next time you join us for prayer night on the main campus!
